A pale green jade two-handled incense burner and cover

18th/19th century
Of compressed globular form, carved on the side with two taotie masks, rising to the short waisted neck and galleried rim with a key-fret border, flanked by a pair of bat and loose-ring handles, supported on a splayed foot carved with pendent stiff leaves and a key-fret band, surmounted by a domed cover with stylised dragons and taotie masks below a chrysanthemum finial, the stone of pale green tone with russet and white inclusions, wood stand. 16.4cm (6½in) wide (3).
