Comprising a pale green jade oval cup, flanked by two chilong dragons clambering over the sides amidst prunus branches forming the handles, 13.6cm (5⅜in) wide; a white jade two-handled archaistic cup, well carved with a C-scroll border below a key-fret band around the rim, the foliate shaped handles incised with lingzhi fungus sprays, the white stone with areas of yellow tinge, 11.4cm (4½in)wide; and a Mughal-style white jade cup with a dragon handle, carved in low relief with two chilong dragons holding floral sprigs in their mouths, below a key-fret border around the rim, supported on a chrysanthemum-shaped base, 8.4cm (3¼in) wide (3).

Provenance: according to family tradition, the collection was formed by the grandmother of the current owner, who lived in Shanghai circa 1900. She moved to Shanghai as her husband was appointed manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai bank.
