Two white and black jade carvings

18th/19th century
Comprising: a carving of a white cat carved with a russet butterfly on its side, playing with a black kitten, the fur naturalistically rendered with incised lines, 4.5cm (1¾in) wide; together with a pendant of a white jade carved boy holding a lingzhi fungus sprig behind his shoulders, standing atop a black jade dragon pursuing the flaming pearl.
