A pair of iron-red-enamelled 'carp' bowls

Daoguang seal marks and of the period
Each painted around the steep rounded sides with nine swimming carp, with their details finely picked out, with some heightened with gilding, the base with six-character reign seal mark in iron-red, 12.8cm (5in) diam.; together with a small famille rose wine cup painted with a pair of birds perched on a blossoming prunus tree, the recessed base with Daoguang seal mark and of the period, 6.4cm (2½in) diam.
