Qianlong seal mark and of the period
Elegantly potted with tall rounded sides rising to the slightly everted rim, supported on a very slightly splayed foot, the exterior superbly enamelled with a continuous undulating leafy composite floral scroll reserved in green against the black ground, including lotus, peony, aster, prunus and lily, with several of the blossoms unusually bearing auspicious fruit in the centre, including pomegranate and finger citron, the rim gilt, the interior and foot white glazed.
