A flambé-glazed bottle vase

19th century
The globular body rising to the tall cylindrical neck flanked by a pair of mythical-beast handles, supported on a splayed foot ring, all under a rich burgundy-red glaze thinning to purplish shades on the neck and mushroom tone around the rim, stopping short of the foot ring, the base with cafe-au-lait glaze.
39.8cm (15⅝in) high.
