The recumbent mythical beast well carved in the round with its body curled to the left, detailed with a combed mane and tufted tail, the head with large bulging eyes below a heavy brow, the jaws open to reveal its sharp fangs, the stone of a yellowish-green tone with russet skin. 13.6cm (5¼in) wide.
