A rare blue and white 'Islamic market' ewer

Kangxi
Of metal form, with flattened sides rising from a high foot, set to one side with a high arched handle and to the other with a curved narrow spout mounted with a metal band, all surmounted by a cup-shaped opening to the top, painted all with leafy floral scrolls and stiff lotus lappets.
28.6cm (11¼in) high.
