The well-hollowed vessel rising from four short cabriole legs issuing from monster-mask heads, the stone deftly worked around the sides with two continuous registers of archaistic scroll-work in shallow raised relief, the cover similarly worked and with four mythical animals, the dragon, qilin, phoenix and bixie, in high relief on each of the four sides, and surmounted by a recessed circular knop finial, the white stone with high polish and natural stone flaws, inlaid wood stand. 9.4cm (3½in) high (3).
