Two famille rose porcelain snuff bottles

Iron-red Daoguang four-character mark and of the period; iron-red Jiaqing seal mark and of the period
The first of flattened circular form, finely painted on one side with a battle scene in which General Zhang Ge'er is defeated by an Imperially appointed army, the reverse painted with the General on trial within a court setting, 6.2cm (2½in) high; the second of compressed spade form, painted on each side with pairs of figures within panels reserved against a stylised floral design in underglaze blue picked out in gold enamel, 6.4cm (2½in) high.
