Ink and colour on paper, the inscription praising the dignitary (1823-1901) for his work, and noting his title, Grand Secretariat, the Viceroy of Zhili, at seventy years of age, dated to the 5th day of the first month of the 18th year of Guangxu, corresponding to 1893, with one seal of the Empress Dowager Cixi, all enclosed by a border of five-clawed dragons, framed.
