A schist standing figure of Buddha

Gandhara, 2nd-3rd century AD
The bare-footed god standing atop a graduated lotus pedestal, clad in flowing robes falling in folds around the body, the head with a serene expression set before a halo, wood stand. 59.5cm (23⅜in) high (2).
