A gilt-bronze figure of a Tsong Khapa

Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Well cast seated in dhyanasana atop a double-lotus pedestal, his hands held in dharmacakrapravartana mudra holding the stems of two lilies flanking his arms, wearing flowing robes adorned with floral scrolls at the hems and a tall pointed cap framing the smiling serene face, box. 17cm (6⅝in) high (2).
