A parcel-gilt bronze dancer

17th century
Elegantly cast wearing long flowing robes and a celestial scarf, with the right hand raised and the left hand lowered in mirror image, the robes incised with a phoenix badge, floral and geometric designs, the face with an intense expression below the high chignon, with one foot showing beneath the robes.
32cm (12⅝in) high.
