The baluster vase cast in relief with a pair of gilt mythical-beast mask handles set on a border of pendent stiff leaves, archaistic designs and key-fret borders, rising to the tall waisted neck and galleried rim with a key-fret band, the splayed foot with a key-fret border, the underside cast with a three-line inscription reading Qianlong wuchen zhong chun [] [] sheng hui chen wan.
