Ming Dynasty
The vessel rising from a high hollow foot cast with two horizonal ribs to a globular body cast around the shoulder with a narrow band of leiwen, set to either side with rams' heads in high relief, surmounted by a tall, similarly cast cover with recessed oval finial, the interiors of the vessel and cover both cast with archaistic inscriptions.
