The mythical beast heavily cast in three sections, seated on its haunches with head turned to the left, the open jaws revealing sharp fangs beneath the bulging eyes, the brows, mane, back and tail cast with raised curls of hair, highlighted with gilding, the head and tail cast separately, Japanese box.
