Eight prints from the series Meisho Edo Hyakkei (The Hundred Famous Views of Edo), comprising Meguro Taikobashi yuhino oka (The Drum Bridge at Meguro Sunset), Akasaka kiribatake (The Paulownia Plantation at Akasaka), Kanda myojin akebono no kei (Dawn at the Kanda Myojin Shrine), Kanda konya cho (Dyers' District in Kanda), Sumidagawa Suijin no mori Masaki (Masaki and the Suijin Grove by the Sumida River), Atagoshita yabukoji (Yabukoji below Atago), Nihonbashi Edobashi (Nihon Bridge and Edo Bridge) and Kameido umeyashiki (Plum Garden at Kameido), each dated 1856-1858, published by Uoya Eikichi, signed Hiroshige ga/hitsu. Oban each sheet approx. 36.2cm x 24½cm (14¼in x 9 5/8in). (8).
