Entirely plain except for five incised horizontal grooves, three just beneath the flaring rim and another two on the shouder, applied with two handles in the form of stylised dragons, with an evenly-applied dark brown russet patina, the base engraved with the artist's seal Ieharu. 41cm (16 1/8in) high.
