Cast in two detachable sections, the bird of prey standing on a rocky crag in green patinated bronze, with wings outstretched and glaring alertly ahead, the eyes inlaid in gilt with black pupils, signed Ryoho within an oval reserve; with two tomobako titled and signed by the artist Serikawa Ryoho saku with seal Kokodo, Serikawa Ryoho. 68cm (26¾in) high incl. stand, the wing-span 35.5cm (14in) across, the stand 40.7cm (16in) high.
