Finely and conventionally cast, seated and relaxed, clad in loose robes, watching affectionately his pet toad crawling over his raised right knee, with removable lacquered stand, the detachable toad of silvered metal, signed Seiun; with tomobako signed by the artist Shobido zo with seal Shobido in. The figure 16cm x 22cm (6¼in x 8 5/8in), the stand 33cm (13in) long. (4).
