Each standing, one on a green-patinated bronze base, their bodies of matt silver, with details of shakudo and shibuichi, signed Shoun saku; with a black lacquer stand and tomobako titled Asahi sokaku okimono (The morning Sun, a pair of cranes okimono) and signed by the artist Yamaguchi Shoun with seal Shoun. The cranes 36.2cm (14¼in) and 35cm (13¾in); the stand 54.6cm (21½in) x 33cm (13in). (5).
