In the form of a karashishi, recumbent with one forepaw resting upon an open-work brocade ball, its head turned alertly to the right, its body finely marked with bold spots on a stippled back, a detachable section beneath its mane forming the cover, signed in a long oval reserve Nakao Munesada; with wood storage box. 20cm x 14cm (7 7/8in x 5½in).
