Both of lobed hexagonal section with everted necks, embellished with matching seasonal scenes, one vase depicting a solitary, small bird perched on a bamboo fence from behind which issues forth flowering kiku blossoms, the other depicting different species of butterflies hovering over blooming peony shrubs, all richly inlaid in gold, silver, copper, shakudo and shibuichi takazogan, the base of both vases signed in seal-form Jomi sei; with wood storage box. Both vases 21cm (8¼in) high. (3).
