Both enamelled and gilt, the first decorated with shaped panels enclosing kacho-ga, a young girl dancing to the accompaniment of music and tea ceremony implements, reserved on a dense foliate ground; signed Shuzan, 15½cm (6 1/8in) high; the ovoid vase with two rectangular panels of a group of warriors discussing strategy before battle and peasants picking tea leaves during the beginning of the Summer season, signed Dai Nippon Satsuma Shinzan zo, 15.2cm (6in) high. (2).
