A cabinet supported on four bracket feet, lavishly decorated in Shibayama style with simulated overlapping tsuba with assorted kacho-ga, the details of the seppadai rendered in cloisonné enamel and shibuichi, reserved on a ground of inlaid shell and gold foil in Somada style, the front with a single door hinged at the side, opening to reveal within three drawers decreasing in height towards the top, the inside of the door and the drawers embellished with drifting maple leaves in gold takamakie and togidashi, the handle, drawer pulls and edges of silver, unsigned. 13.3cm x 13.5cm x 9.8cm (8¼in x 5¼in x 3 13/16in).
