Carved in relief with a tiger attacked by a hippopotamus whilst other animals including lions, monkeys, giraffe and an elephant watch, the cover carved with two apes and surmounted by a knop in the form of a seated tiger, supported on an integral five-footed, elaborately carved wood stand; unsigned. The tusk vase 22.3cm (8¾in) high; the stand 43.2cm (17in) high. (3).
