In the form of a discarded basket, carved all over with a herringbone, plaited design and pierced with four openings which reveal partially-concealed bodies of fish and crustaceans, the cover carved in high relief with assorted fish and an eel, the eyes inlaid in mother-of-pearl with horn pupils; unsigned. 16cm (6¼in) high. (3).
