Wearing a windswept straw skirt suspended with fishing nets and baskets around his waist, standing on a wave-lashed rock and gesticulating at the large eagle, stealing one of the fish tied around a gnarled stick held over his shoulder, the bird's eyes double-inlaid in horn with dark pupils, the base signed Ryusei. 27cm (10 5/8in) high.
