The overhanging cover decorated with clouds obscuring the full moon inlaid in silver, the interior and base bearing a similar design, containing an inkstone (removable) and a bronze mizuire in the form of a nasu, set into the base embellished with three nasu in gold togidashi over a sparse nashiji ground; with three brushes in dense nashiji holders, with tomobako inscribed and signed Doho zo. 2.4cm x 19cm x 19cm (1in x 7½in x 7½in).
