In the form of two overlapping circles, bearing a nashiji ground and decorated in two parts with a map of Europe and of the western side of Japan, showing Kyushu, Shikoku and the tip of Honshu, together with Dutch trading ships, in gold and coloured hiramakie and togidashi with aogai details, the interior of nashiji, unsigned; with enamelled-metal ash-tray netsuke, unsigned; with wood storage box. 4.5cm x 5.7cm (1¾in x 2¼in) high. (2).
