Bearing a kinji ground and decorated in gold takamakie with a cockerel perched on a kanko drum beside a plum tree on one side and a hen and chicks on the other, with details of red and black lacquer, signed Issai Hisataka with kao; with ivory matching netsuke of a cockerel and glass bead ojime, both unsigned; with wood storage box. 8½cm (3 5/8in) high. (2).
