Bearing a roiro ground, inlaid in aogai, gold and silver foil enhanced with e-nashiji, depicting auspicious symbols of longevity of minogame and cranes among shochikubai (The Three Friends of Winter), and the top and bottom embellished in rich nashiji, with cloisonné enamel ojime and hako-netsuke lacquered in similar Somada style with the head and shoulders of a rakan holding a hossu; unsigned. 8½cm (3 5/8in) high.
