Applied in high relief with a continuous design of a gnarled plum tree, with details in mother-of-pearl, reserved on a grainy ground simulating dressed stone, signed with seal Takamitsu; with umimatsu ojime of irregular form and ensuite tubular netsuke similarly lacquered with a bud stem, signed with seal Ensei. 6.7cm (2 5/8in) high.
