Comprising nineteen yakusha-e, the majority incomplete sheets from triptychs, including twelve prints by Toyokuni III (Kunisada), one sheet depicting Ichimura Uzaemon and another of Kawarazaki Gonjyuro in the role of Soga no Goro; a kamigata-e by Hokushu portraying Nakamura Utaemon, another by Hokuei, more actor prints by Kunimaro, Kunihiro, a sheet from a triptych of three actors taking respite by Kuniyoshi, two more sheets by Kuniaki, one by Kunitsuna, a sumo-e sheet by Kunisada from a triptych, showing the wrestler Koyanagi Tsunekichi, a Genji-e sheet by Kunisada, two musha-e sheets by Yoshitoyo from the series Taihei Bui yushi kagami, variously published and signed, two miscellaneous prints. The smallest 25½cm x 18.7cm (10in x 7 5/8in), the largest 37½cm x 25½cm (14¾in x 10in). (26).
