Both seated on high scroll feet, the lady playing a zither resting on her right knee, her male companion holding a pipe to his mouth with his left hand, his right hand beating a drum slung to one side, between colourful bocage, the bases picked out in gilding, 20.5cm and 21cm high, red anchor and dagger mark on upper surface of base, pseudo crossed swords and four dots mark in blue under the foot (some restoration and minor losses) (2)
