circa 1765
Of deep circular form, the twin handles and knops delicately pierced in rococo style and picked out in gold, painted with spiralling garlands of flowers suspended from pink borders edged with gilt scrollwork, the interiors with a floral spray in tooled gold, stands 18cm diam, gold anchor marks (one knop restored, one ecuelle with slight crazing, one stand with two short cracks, some wear to gilding on rims) (6)
