A Bristol or Wincanton delftware plate

circa 1739
Of octagonal form, painted in blue with a harbour scene, the border with eight smaller panels of floral sprays and fleurs-de-lys, reserved on a powdered manganese ground, 21cm diam, numeral 7 in blue (a few rim chips)
