A Yorkshire Toby jug

circa 1810
By the 'Pottery that used a Large Crown Mark', typically modelled seated, holding a small Toby jug and a serpent-stemmed pipe, wearing a blue coat and ochre breeches, his hat and base sponged with panels of colour, a figurehead handle to the rear, 25.8cm high, impressed crown mark (hat, feet and small jug restored)
