A very rare Swansea inkwell

circa 1815-17
Of compressed circular form, the upper surface finely turned around the central opening and gilded with cross-hatched and foliate bands on a gilt ground, the wide border below with gilt and puce scrollwork reserved on a bright green powdered ground, 6cm diam, script mark in gold (slight wear to gilding on the upper surface)
