Footnotes
Another example in the Victoria and Albert Museum is illustrated by Arthur Lane, English Porcelain Figures of the 18th Century (1961), pl 70A. Peter Bradshaw suggests that the group was inspired by an engraving after the painting by Francois Boucher entitled 'La Mouton Favorite'. See Derby Porcelain Figures (1990), p 231
