A rare Derby pot pourri vase and cover

circa 1760-65
Of oval form, moulded with basketwork and applied with yellow florets at the intersections, the moulding pierced around the rims, supported on a boldly modelled rococo base picked out in turquoise and gold and applied with colourful flowers, the cover with a bird finial and more applied flowers, 15.5cm high, patch marks (finial restored back into position, some re-gilding to cover) (2)
