Standing with his arms positioned to hold a triangle, wearing a plumed tricorn hat, puce waistscoat and a suit painted with simple puce sprigs, the jacket with a lime green lining, the domed base supported by four feet with scrollwork in puce and turquoise and applied with flowers and leaves, 21cm high (triangle lacking, left arm, plumes and ribbon in his hair restored)

The painting of his suit is closely related to that on two similar figures illustrated by Geoffrey Godden, Lowestoft Porcelains (1985), colour plate 8 and plate 181, although these have mound bases. The flowers and leaves applied to the base are identical to those found applied to Lowestoft handle terminals and two other Lowestoft figures. Lowestoft figures are only very rarely found
