Modelled as an elderly lady seated on a barrel, her left hand on her knee, a foaming glass in her right hand, her face of rather gaunt appearance, wearing an unusually tall tricorn hat and a blue-spotted dress with an ochre collar, the barrel and low-mound base picked out in green, 18cm high (some restoration)

No other example of this model appears to be recorded. It bears some similarities to the 'Fair Hebe' Toby jug, sold by Bonhams Knightsbridge, 26 November 2005, lot 103, both figures wearing unusually tall tricorn hats
