A Lowestoft sparrow beak jug

circa 1765
The scrolled handle with thumbrest, painted in dark blue with the 'Tightrope Walker' or 'Boy on the Bridge' pattern, the small figures amongst scrolling vegetation and a willow tree, a 'scroll and flower' border below the rim, 8.3cm high (tip of spout restored)
