The earlier jug with a grooved handle, turned foot and sparrow beak spout, painted in colours with the 'Snake in a Basket' pattern, 8.1cm high (cracked and chipped), the later example of faceted form with a shaped rim and a scrolled handle, painted in famille rose style with three floral sprigs and an insect by the handle, a floral border below the interior rim, 9.6cm high (fine crack) (2)
