Two Worcester sparrow beak jugs,

circa 1756
Of 'Scratch Cross' type and with grooved handles, one painted in blue with the 'Warbler' pattern, the bird perched upon reeds beside a fence, plants and rockwork, a diaper and floral panel below the interior rim, 8.6cm, workman's mark (chip to spout), the other with 'Prunus Fence' pattern in a lighter tone of blue, 8.3cm high, workman's mark (fine crack) (2)
