Footnotes
See Branyan, French and Sandon, Worcester Blue and White Porcelain (1989), I D 7A for a teabowl and saucer in this very rare pattern. A glazed waster of the pattern was found during excavations on the factory site in 1969 but the authors did not locate a finished example until 1982. There are similarities to the 'Fisherman and Willow Pavilion' pattern, I B 21
