A chest belt for a horse (bramtsa)

Russian, probably 17th century
the leather belts with large circular central ornament, two rectangular panels on the sides, all gilded, the sides of the belt with series of overlapping metal mounts with shell motifs diameter of central medallion: 12cm (4 1/2in).
