An Imari porcelain floor vase
Meiji/Taisho Period

Of ovoid form, decorated in underglaze blue, polychrome enamels and gilt with floral patterns and flowering trees in four shaped panels, surrounded by floral medallions on a blue glazed ground to the waisted neck and above a blue lappet band encircling the base, and with butterflies and flowers painted within the flaring rim.
